The cannabis industry event of the year in Florida is taking place in a few weeks. Industry professionals and ambitions wannabe stakeholders will converge at the Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida for 2 days of pertinent panel discussions, Guest Presentations, brand exhibits and community engagement.
The importance of this event cannot be understated. This is the last industry event before Floridians go to the polls to vote on Amendment 3, legalizing adult-use cannabis possession, sale and use in the State of Florida. Opposition remains strong with the Governor coming out against the measure, despite his Party’s leader stating he will support Amendment 3 as a resident of the Sunshine State. The measure also needs a Supermajority of 60% to pass. While supporters remain confident, there is still much to be discussed both pre and post the elections.
